この作品は結構プリミティブなパッションで作っています。タイトルは「本能的な子育て」「原始的な子育て」という意味合いがあります。モチーフは「天狗」です。今回提出する他の作品の天狗のお話は優しいものですが、実際、天狗といえば、親がこどもを怒るときに引き合いにだすこともあると思います。私自身が2歳・3歳の親をしていますが、現在進行形で真剣に向き合っているプリミティブな子育ての感覚を使いながら、「親にとっての天狗」を表現できたらと思います。
“This work was created with a rather primitive passion. The title carries the sense of “instinctive parenting” or “primitive parenting.” The motif is the tengu.
While the other tengu stories I present are gentle ones, tengu are also figures parents sometimes invoke when scolding their children. As a parent of two- and three-year-olds myself, I drew upon the raw, instinctive feelings of parenting in the present moment to express “the tengu as seen by parents.”

Work Process:
越前和紙で、直径60cmの天狗の被り物を作る 育児で子を叱る時をイメージし、大瀧神社で子が泣いたり親が叱ったり諭したり謝り謝ることを褒める仲良くするようなプロセスを身体表現。 そのドキュメント写真をプリント
1. プリントしたものをエナメルリムーバーで越前和紙に転写
2. 1の残った方のプリントにアッサンブラージュ
3. 1と同じ
(使った天狗の被り物を再構成したミクストメディア のシリーズも予定)
A Tengu mask (60cm diameter) was created from Echizen washi. Performance at Otaki Shrine explored parenting dynamics—scolding, crying, reasoning, apologizing, praising, and reconciling—through physical expression.
The performance documentation was developed into 2 series:
#1.Solvent transfers on Echizen washi using enamel remover
#2. Assemble the remaining print from #1
#3. same as #1

*Tengu: Supernatural beings from Japanese folklore, often depicted with long noses or bird-like features. Traditionally feared as tricksters or mountain spirits, but sometimes regarded as protectors.”
